EEA National PR Timeline & Docs

Post by Roaring Cat » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:46 pm

Hi all,
1. Would anyone know how long would it take for the PR to arrive for an EEA national application(straight forward case...)?

2. Will be using the council's EEA passport return service, other than passports, would all documents sent must be originals?

Truly appreciate any help!

Best.

Hi (or meow/roar) to you too!
1. Would anyone know how long would it take for the PR to arrive for an EEA national application(straight forward case...)?
That is a 'piece of string' question ...even though the guidelines state that most applications should be dealt with within six months, some people have had to wait even longer. However these are usually EEA family members. Single EEA national applications are usually resolved much quicker. In particular people from 'accession countries' have had PR within three months. Apparently A2/A8 nationals had a dedicated HO team due to their need to register previously. See the first couple pages of eea-route-applications/permanent-reside ... 22983.html to look at timelines of others.
2. Will be using the council's EEA passport return service, other than passports, would all documents sent must be originals?
Yes, all other documents sent must be originals. See the guidance offered by a council here http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/info/20051 ... rvice_eprs as an example.

Hope this helps.

The EEA PR time line topic has been locked and replaced by this one.

eea-route-applications/permanent-reside ... -1300.html

In a previous message I wrote that this was an error. My message has been deleted (thanks !).
You can see now that this topic is dead. You can see that Google still send users to the original one but it is unfortunately locked. Who is the 1st looser? Your forum.

Also, why do you penalise all your forum visitors because a couple of them didn’t respect the chart? You can freeze their account, and the show must go on.
