Tier 4 to Tier 2 Visa Help and CoS Help-Urgent if Possible Please

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I could get some help, as I am a bit confused and muddled at the minute regarding where I am up to with my application.

I had been on a Tier 4 visa, having studied in the UK, which then allowed me to work for a year after graduating to complete postgraduate training, which was allowed on my Tier 4 visa. My BPR on this was up to mid August 2017.

I then was offered a job, and my employer was acting as my sponsor for my Tier 2 Visa-He was granted a CoS, and after this was granted, I then went ahead and applied for my Tier 2 visa.

My Tier 2 visa has now been rejected-I had fulfilled appendix A and B, however my sponsor forgot to say they will certify my maintenance, and therefore my application was rejected under maintenance funds. This was a simple mistake on their behalf, as they were not familiar with the system. I was not asked in my application about providing evidence of maintenance funds.

They now have submitted another CoS, and have asked me to re-submit my visa application.

My main queries are
1-Can the original CoS not be amended and my original visa application used.
2-Is an administrative review on my previous visa worthwhile or not.
3-Can I currently work pending all of this?

No to all.
A new cos and application is required every time.
AR is for when UKVI made mistake in decision - not in your case
Since your last visa has expired, u are not allowed to work now , till u have a new visa

Hi IrishScouser,

I am currently facing the a pretty similar situation to yours.
May I know how have you got onto it? It seems, from reading posts on this forum so far, the main way to go is to reapply from scratch (new COS, etc...) but I'm not sure how the application can be done since my documents are still withheld by UKVI :S

Any guidance would be appreciate, thanks!
