Application refusal how many days given to leave

Hi

its just regarding one of my friend he applied for FLR but he just got the NHS surcharge refunded and he can see his application has been decided on UKBA online application check updated just couple of days ago.
So assuming as there are more chances that his application for leave would be rejected.

Just wanted to know how many days will UKBA give him to leave the country.

Which FLR did he apply for (yes there is more than one category of FLR)??
Char (CR001 not Casa)

it was FLR IR and he was on student visa before that

What is his full immigration history, including date of coming to the UK and start and end dates of visa?

On what basis did he believe he qualified for a FLR(IR) application??
