Complicated HSMP application. Help requested

Post by RushG60 » Sat Mar 01, 2008 5:27 pm

I am an American Citizen, 31 years old (turn 32 in June), I have a Masters degree (non MBA) and several years work experience.

I have been in discussion with a company based in London who is interested in hiring me. They will not support my work permit (very small company), so I must create my own eligibility and then they will hire me. I assume the HSMP is what I will have to apply for.

The complication to my application is that even though I am an American Citizen, I worked in the Czech Republic for the last three years.
When I was in American, I had a very high salary but my Czech salary was very low and I was just there for the experience.

Can someone make a suggestion on what I should do to increase my chances of being accepted? Do I have any other options. Will the HSMP board take into account that I have a job lined up in the UK?

Thanks!!!
