Postponed ceremony - 16 Oct 17

Post by ashaheen » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:18 am

For those of us who were due to be naturalised at yesterday's ceremony, is there any word on how we manage international travel booked between now and whenever the ceremony is rescheduled? E.g. If the ceremony isn't until December and we have flights booked in November, do you think travel will be permitted?

They updated the new date on inis website. Ceremony rescheduled to be held on 27th November 2017. Everything else, attendees list, time slots, remains the same.

Cheers.

Just received the new invitation letter for the 27th Nov. INIS is acting really fast after the cancellation! good to see that.

Does anyone know if there will be enough time to make the actual passport before Xmas following naturalisation on the 27th of Nov? On the passport.ie it says that first time passport takes min 4 weeks

You might be able to get it just right before Christmas if you apply same day and attach your flight ticket and a letter saying that you have made the bookings already and pretty please send my passport on time
