premium service appointment and FLR (M)

Post by missblissbear » Tue Oct 17, 2017 9:00 am

For those that went the premium route... couple of questions.

Did you submit online forms or print out and take your application in?

Those that did online... How long before your visa was due to expire did you submit?

When making your premium appointment... How far ahead or how early could you book?

My visa runs out on the 22nd of next month...I did plan on doing the online application... its filled in just sitting waiting to submit. I rang the help line because my online form says I can not submit till 28 day prior to my current visa expires. I'm extremely worried if I have to wait till the 25th of this month... there wont be any premium appointments available! My visa ran from 22/2/15 and we arrived in the UK on the 6/3/15 and it expires on the 22/11/17. Thanks for any responses.

Paying for premium

Post by missblissbear » Tue Oct 17, 2017 1:58 pm

I am paying premium no matter what way I go... after advice/experience

Is it better to apply online? Then take supporting documents to premium appointment?
(If you did it this way... how long after submitting your online application were you able to get an appointment?)

Should I book an online appointment and then fill in and bring my printed application to hand in on the day of appointment?
(Still a premium appointment)

My visa expires on the 22nd of November.... I have an online application ready to submit but it says I cant till the 25th October... which is 28 days before my current visa expires. I really prefer to submit online... but I am really worried about getting a premium appointment within the final 28 day time frame.

Thanks all.

Cancelation with premium appointment

Post by missblissbear » Wed Oct 18, 2017 1:48 pm

Has anyone ever had a Premium appointment booked and then been able to change it for an earlier appointment? After someone else had cancelled?

My visa expires on 22 November and my preferred Premium centre only had appointments for 22 November :? So I had to choose another premium centre... which is another 4 hours travel time... but can fit me on the 6th of November. Immigration line said check the appointments for preferred centre each day and see if anything else comes up.

Just wondering what the likelihood is?

Thank you for replying... I understand I can change my appointment day... Just hoping someone could offer some insight as to wether they were ever able to get a cancelation appointment at their preferred premium centre? As we are having to wait... and go to a centre so far away.. I'm just hoping to hear a good story they someone else was able to secure an appointment earlier....

The reason I didn't is it is the day my current visa runs out... I haven't done anything to risk my visa (that I know off) but I hear all these stories of refusals etc... and was scared that ~if~ for what ever reason they need more information or deny... I am supposed to leave on that day as it is the final day of my visa.

No you won't be expected to leave on that day. If they need more time/documents to decide, you would be protected by Section 3C of the immigration act, which means your existing visa conditions continue.

Adequate maintenance

Post by missblissbear » Wed Oct 18, 2017 2:56 pm

Please can someone assist?

My husband receives DLA for our son... so we fall under needing to prove adequate maintenance....

I am a little confused with (my) requirements... I have listed his income... all benefits he and my son receive, and just need to provide my income.

I have my SA302 for the last financial year.. 2016/2017 ended 5 April 2017 But I am confused what figure I put in for me...

my total income from self employment was £14878.00
my income from previous employment was £499
So total income received was 15377.00

Minus personal allowance 11000.00
total income which tax is due 4377.00

What is the NET figure that they want?

Also should I put in my books figures for this years figures so far... since April?

Please can you keep all your questions on the same application in ONE topic (this one, all merged).

See calculating adequate maintenance (click). Does he receives Carer Allowance too?

Sorry I didn't mean to do the wrong thing.

No he doesn't receive carers allowance. He probably could... but we haven't claimed. He does 16 hours a week and I am the main earner.

I have everything else sorted I'm just unsure what figure out of MY SA302 to give them... being self employed and this is the first time i've done my own assessment... It asks for my NET figure... in Australia our tax shows both net and gross. This doesn't... it just has the information I gave in my previous post....

I get online statements so I went to the bank to get them to send out my statements... They arrived and all look fine... but they have 'duplicate' written under the date range.

Is this ok?

Also we only need to provide adequate maintenance and not the £18600 as my husband receives DLA for our son. Do I need to supply only 6 or 12 months statements? We are also both employed.

Thanks for any responses.

Bank statements

Post by missblissbear » Mon Oct 23, 2017 2:48 pm

PLEASE HELP?

Can someone PLEASE verify...

I ordered bank statements directly from the bank... But they have (duplicate) written on them... they are on official letterhead etc... just contain that extra word.

Or I can print them myself from my computer as I have my statements set to online delivery... Which should I use?

Has anyone submitted with statements that say (duplicate?)

I have a premium appointment booked.

You cannot use online ones if they are not stamped and verified by the bank.

The others you have received should be fine.

You should use those original statements you ordered from the bank, there shouldn't be any issues with the word 'duplicate' as long as the statements are original.

HI
IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE PREMIUM SERVICE AND GOING IN PERSON, THEN YOU NEED TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT FOR SOME TIME WITHIN THE LAST 28 DAYS OF YOUR VISA. THE PAYMENT FOR THE APPLICATION FEE AND THE PREMIUM FEE IS MADE ON LINE, PLUS IF YOU NEED TO PAY THE HEALTH CHARGE, THAT TOO IS PAID ONLINE.
THEN PRINT OFF AND COMPLETE THE FORM AND TAKE WITH YOU ON THE DAY, ALONG WITH ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. IF ALL THE DOCUMENTS ARE IN ORDER, THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM ON THE DAY. IF THERE IS ANY QUERY TO BE MADE, THEY WILL DO THAT ON THE DAY.
IF YOU DON'T GET APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR LOCAL OFFICE, TRY ELSEWHERE, BUT DON'T LET THE VISA EXPIRE.
HOPE THAT HELPS.

Financial question

Post by missblissbear » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:24 am

I have my premium appointment booked... I have all my documentation and more (probably need to loose a few) BUT in regards to my income (self employed and only needing to show adequate maintenance) I don't understand how to write my actual financials on the application.

Do you think it would be ok just on this question to fill as much in as possible... provide all the information I have regarding my financials and ask the premium person doing my interview what information they need and write it in in front of them?

The bank refused to stamp my bank statements that i got from them.... HSBC... they are direct from the bank they ordered them and sent them out... but they say 'DUPLICATE' has anyone had any issues?

Also....

Please can someone help....Section 7B on the FLR (M) page 37 indicating public funds received... As my husband gets DLA for our sun I need to fill this in....the part that confuses me is....

Council Tax reduction.

We get this... but its paid directly to the council... not to us? Can someone confirm if I am still supposed to put this amount on the sheet?

If you are relying on meeting the 'Adequate Maintenance' for the spouse visa and exemption from the financial requirement, you need to complete Section 7B.

Yes that is the section I am asking about... I have filled it all in... its just that one payment that is confusing me... the council tax reduction. It is paid to the council directly... not us.... but council tax reduction is listed in 7B... even if it is paid straight to the council do I still add it on the form? I am sorry if I seem daft.

It is still YOUR/PARTNER benefit, regardless of where it gets paid to.
