Delay in joining after getting the visa

Hi,

So I was previously on a tier 4 visa. I got a job and the employer applied for a tier 2 using a an in-country Priority Service. Now I have the visa, however my joining has been delayed to February. I original joining was October 25. I have decided to go back to India and then come back in February. I just wanted to ask if I can go and comeback on the same BRP. I will be in India for about four months and I am worried if I will be required to make a new application.

I think its better that you research CoS guidance and talk with your HR/ Legal.
my thinking is that you must join as per the date on you CoS and then take leave to return back on Feb.
