[Problem with new ITR form

Post by sandip_panigrahi » Mon Mar 03, 2008 6:45 am

Friends,
I am planning to apply for HSMP in April after I gte my ITR form.
But the new ITR form displays only the 'Taxable component' of the salary
and not teh gross salary. So when the caseworker matches this ITR amount with
my 12 payslips from Apr-07 to Mar-08,he will see it as "mismatching".

Am I correct ? If so,how do I convince the caseworker about my gross salary ?
Please help,
Sandip.

Problem with new ITR form

Hai Sandip,

To convince the caseworker the supporting documents are your 12 month payslips and your 12 month bank statement for the deposit of your salary into your account.

ITR is an addional document to tell that you are paying tax for the income that you are earning. So Don't worry.

I am telling you this based on the existing HSMP programme.

If you are planning to apply in April based on the new point based system, please be thorough the complete details of the new point based system before you proceed with the HSMP application.

All the best.

Regards,
--Sekhar.
