6,363 HSMP applications approved up to June 2004

Post by Chess » Fri Dec 03, 2004 8:55 am

Guyz,

I have now got official HSMP data - 6,363 applications approved since the scheme was launched in 2002.

If the reference numbers around june 2004 are 19,000 to 22,000 this gives a rejection rate of over 60%

Genuine applicants should not be discouraged by the statistics. If you have resonably strong evidence to claim your points your application should be approved.

All sort of people want to come and live in the UK and some of them dont possess the right amount of documentation required and some more unfortunatly use fradulent documents.

If you look at the link below there were 5,750 applications by end of Dec 2003,

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=1899

in June 2004, there were 6,363..therefore we have had 613 succesful applications in 6 months.....

I dont think this data is correct

Guys, I think they are talking about approvals by june, and not applications by june 30. Still makes the approval rate , or the lack thereof, rather scary I think

Don’t forget in June they were only processing applications from either early march or even February cases.

I think the number is too low, the scheme was launched in 2002, only 6K in 3 almost 4 years.........and we hear they are receiving a few thousand applications a week...

Dear Checkmate Please Check the following from that document.

3 This refers to initial applications, from both individuals seeking to enter the UK under the HSMP and those already in
the UK who want to switch into the HSMP. Once this application is granted, the individual then applies for entry
clearance to enter the UK or leave to remain to stay in the UK.
