visitor visa for parents

Hi,

I'm planning to apply visa for my parents (who are in India) for few months.

1. At the moment we are living a big one bed room apartment but plan to move to 2 bed soon, how much does 1bed affect visa chances, should I wait till I move to new place before applying for visa?

2. My parents would be returning back from UK, how can I they prove that, they don't have lot of bank balance not properties. Is there some kind of typing value that is required? (parents are not working anymore)
