Holiday after visa granted (PAK)

Post by brother88 » Sat Nov 04, 2017 12:08 am

Hi All,

My spouse's visa was recently approved and the vignette is valid until 3rd December.

The plan is to fly with her on Emirates from Pakistan to Dubai to UK. We wanted to do a honeymoon in Dubai for 4 days and arrive in the UK well before the vignette expires.

I wanted to ask if this stop-over in Dubai is allowed or will we be questioned at the UK airport for stopping over in Dubai rather than coming directly to the UK as stopping in Dubai will result in entry/exit stamps on her passport.

Thanks all.

You should be perfectly fine just as long as you arrive before the expiry date and go pick up the BRP.

Don't sweat it, go and enjoy the honeymoon.
