Tier 2 changing employer - dependants

Hi all,

We are looking at employing someone who will be switching employers to us, he is already on Tier 2 in the UK.
How would he go about bring his dependants with him? Would he need to reapply for them to continue staying when he gets his new unrestricted CoS allocated from us?

If they have a current visa, they do not have to apply at the same time as the main tier 2 visa holder. If their visas all expire shortly, they should apply together.

Assuming the full and proper RLMT process has been completed??

Yes the RLMT has been completed and met.


Regarding the dates of work on the new uCoS, do we put from the start date until his original visa expires (current visa expiration is end of 2019), or can we do for another full 3 years from his start date (assuming he won't be on the visa for longer than 6 years)?
