"You must not have been refused entry into Italy previously"
This is a condition I saw many websites mentioning. If such is the case, how do people ever travel to Italy? I'm sure there are a lot of people who were refused before and then enter Italy in their second try, or am I being overly optimistic?

How strict is this condition?
