ILR - New Rules ? Possible Implementation Date

Post by tsp » Mon Mar 10, 2008 11:54 pm

We plan to publish a partial draft bill for prelegislative
scrutiny by the summer and will
introduce a full bill to Parliament by the end of
November 2008.

The above quote from Green Paper PD file Since I m wligible for ILR on Feb 2009, When it would be possible implemented, if they subit the bill on Nov 2008.

Is it implemented immediately or take some time

It depends, sorry.

Some changes need primary legislation, others can be done by secondary legislation which is quicker.

This is a big one that will replace all previous immigration laws so dont expect it to be rushed....

Thanks JAJ, I m really worried to see the new change, I m feeling tierd. However, How can we demonstrate I have paid taxes(TAXES), Are they including council tax as well along with income tax.

Income Tax P60 can be shown, however, do we need to show 5yrs P60's and 5yrs council tax.

Any idea, What you guys think about it.
