SOC for Test Analyst

Hi All,

Can somebody please tell me what SOC applies for a test analyst, will it fall under shortage occupation by any change if the applicable person has more than 7 years of experience. Please reply soon, need for applying in FEB month.

Any reason why you or your sponsor cannot look it up yourselves on the list??

It is the sponsors duty and responsibility to decide on the SOC in order to request a CoS.

They have suggested 2139 but i didn't find it relevant for my test analyst role and that's the reason i was asking. Also if there is something relevant in shortage occupation list then the changes for COS allocation will increase considering the issues in same in last two months.

My role basically deals with embedded testing and not just software testing.

The SOC has to match the job description as closely as possible and the sponsor therefore allocates the SOC accordingly.
