1-year Tier 1 Dependant and 4-year Spouse of a Settled Person

Post by angelsevil2002 » Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:26 am

Hi Everyone,

I was on Tier 1 General for 5 year & got the permanent residence in Aug 2014 via the "Five Year Route". In Dec 2012 my wife got Tier 1 Dependant and moved to live with me in Feb 2013 from Finland (where she holds a Finnish Permanent residence). However, in Oct 2014 my wife renewed her residence under Spouse of a Settled Person (no longer Tier 1 Dependant). Now, its been five year since she moved to live with me - One year under Tier 1 Dependant and Four years under Spouse of a Settled Person.

Is she now eligible to apply for settlement? Your help is most appreciated.

5 years residence as spouse settlement visa before applying for ILR.

Time as Tier 1 dependent doesn't count in your circumstances.
