AIT appeal won

Post by man1976 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 1:32 pm

Hi
My parent’s visa (they applied as my dependants) was rejected by ECO last year in Karachi. I appealed against the decision and on the 2nd of March 08, we received the letter from AIT, giving the decision in our favour.

To appeal against AIT's decision home office was given 5 days. This time has elapsed, i called AIT today and they confirmed me that home office has not challenged the decision

I would like to know how things move forward from here

1) How long will it take for Home office to process and send this decision to Embassy in Karachi

2) How long Embassy takes to process and request the applicants to send thier passports to stamp the visa

3) Is there anything i can do to speed up the process

Any help will be much appreciated

Mansoor
