Speed of PR when applying from uk

Hi

Can you tell me is the any difference in time span in which one can get PR if applying though india or UK ...can applying through uk will be faster ?

Won't be any faster if you resided in a high risk country (India). The full security checks will still be run on you regardless whether you apply from.

Jeff is correct, it doesn't matter which country you apply from, the visa process will not be any quicker.

However, if your occupation is listed on the MODL list, then your application will be given priority. Yup, its official for all application recieved after 1st September 2007.

Is your occupation on the MODL list?
