I am applying for naturalisation can i apply for my daughter’s naturalisation along with me.
Gone through MN1 guide lines. It says Under Section 3(1). Home Secretary’s discretion (page 14) i can apply for my daughter naturalisation.

Hi Simon thanks for your reply.

My daughter is on Tier1 General dependant ( valid until Aug -2018) and completed 5 years and she is eligible for ILR. I applied for my wife she got ILR on jan 2018 and my daughter is born in india.

As i am applying for Naturalisation, i want to apply for my daughter as well under MN1 Gudelines - Section 3(1) Home Secretary’s discretion.

Thanks obie for your reply.

Do you think is there any risk applying this way.

Under Section 3(1). Home Secretary’s discretion. Is it straight forward case or any other issues involved in it.

Thanks
Raj

Child is expected to have ILR before applying for registration.

Go through Nationality Guidance: Registration of Children (Page 27-31) and Guide MN1(Page 16 onwards). That should answer your questions.

Child is expect to but not necessarily have to. There are other factors which could outweigh lack of ILR.
