Unrestricted CoS processing time

How long does it take for an unrestricted certificate to be approved? My new employer applied for it on Friday 2 March and he's been checking SMS since.

I asked my current employer who became a visa sponsor in order to hire me and they said my certificate came at the same time as their sponsor application approval.

Still nothing yet. Unrestricted should've been considered before restricted shouldn't they? It's also past the date for RESTRICTED certificates.
