HSMP Processing time

Post by ashrivas » Sun Apr 04, 2004 6:55 am

This is probably the most redundant question - approximately how long is it taking to process HSMP applications???

I will be applying in the under 28 category from USA. Have all the paperwork ready to be mailed out on Monday, April 5. I have 6 years of work experience but not sure if I qualify under the specialist category. Either ways, I qualify. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

When is it "realistic" to get an approval?

Approval time runs from 6-8 weeks ideally for straightforward applications.

6-8 weeks is what the Home Office says on the website, also. Is it realistic, though?

yep, I reckon 8 weeks +. It only seems to be increasing.
Good Luck!
