Applied Under Family Life Private Life...But Grant Letter Says Grant Of Leave Under Parent Route

We made an application with a qualifying child ( 7 Year Rule) Family Life Private Life. To our surprise, we received a letter after successful appeal, stating that our Grant Of Leave is Under 10 Years Parent Route.

1. Based on the rules, We do not qualify under parent route, because we are a couple, live together with our child and neither of us has settled status. We think this is a mistake and we should be on Private Life Route.

2. Secondly, It states our leave is with NO RECOURSE TO PUBLIC FUNDS. At the moment , we are not in any form of employment and have been on home office support and accommodation since 2015.
We would be homeless should we be asked to vacate our current accommodation and once our weekly support is stopped following grant of leave.

Anyone with knowledge on how to go about our situation. We have a child and don't want to be on the street.

You need to seek a correction of your BRP and also apply for removal of your BRP conditions.
