British Passport or Right of abode/certificate for baby born in India

Hi All,

Would be great if someone advice me?

My husband holds British Passport and I hold ILR.
I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and have a plan to go to India around 30 weeks(Mid June 2018) for the delivery as my due is on August 2018, and would like to come back to UK on March 2019.

So we are looking to book tickets now for June travel but I am keep thinking about the process/difficulties we might face when we come back to UK with the baby.

Which is easier ? British Passport (as My husband hold British Passport) or Right of abode/certificate?
Would be also great if someone specifies how long will it take for British Passport and Right of abode/certificate from India.
