Eu spouse for Spainish schengen visa .. stilling waiting for the result

Hi guys,

I'm Vietnamese. My husband is British and we have a daughter who is 2 years old. We all live in the UK atm. Im working full time.
We are planning to visit Spain end of this April for a week.

I applied for EU spouse visa to Spain in BLS Manchester since 6 March, but until now I have not heard anything back from them. I have few other friends who also applied for Spainish Schengen visa and it only took them about a week to get the result.

My worry is if I'm Vietnamese, will they make thing more difficult for me to get a schengen visa for Eu spouse? Do you know how long it will take normally to get the result? Can it be refused?

I just got the visa today after I sent a complaint to Bls Spain in Edinburgh on 27/3. So all ok now

Hello OP,
I am about to apply for a visa. I just wanted to know if you applied directly with Spanish Consulate or BLS. And did you have to provide actual flight ticket from the flight company as I want to book an all inclusive company and they just give you accomodation plus flight.

Hi,

I applied at BLS Manchester. Then they sent my application to BLS Edinburgh to process it. They did ask for the flight details which have to be printed directly from the airline website. If you book through agent, I believe that they always send you the flight reference as well. You just need to use that flight reference and search on the airline website directly, you can print it out from there.

I applied today. I wonder why Manchester has to send to Edinburgh. Thats crazy
