EC Query

Post by shiva_ts » Wed Apr 02, 2008 10:57 am

Hi Friends,

I have a query regarding EC . We have a two months notice period to serve in the current company and its not the right idea to resign the current job without having the visa.
I am just confused , how to plan when we have got the HSMP approval. Can we request for the visa to be issued after two months when applying for EC or once we get the visa then resign , serve the current job for 2 months and leave for UK
Also are Fixed Deposits valid under the maintaninence of fund ?

Regards,
Shiva

my understanding as of early last yr is that we can request for the EC to be post-dated by three months. i would still email/contact the BHC in question and confirm this w/them, though.

While applying for visa(EC) make sure you tell the officer collecting your documents to stamp "POST DATED EC" on your application

Application Form for EC - Got HSMP Approval on Feb 2008

Post by premkumar_n_uk » Thu Apr 03, 2008 8:13 am

Hi Friends
I got my HSMP approval at Feb 29, 2008.
I am planning for EC in the 2nd week of April.

Please let me know which application form is to be used for EC?

Can I use the same form (VAF2) or I need to get the new application forms after the tier changes on April 1st 2008.

Much appreciated if you provide me the link to download the application form also.

Thanks in Anticipation,

Accomadation

Post by kiladik » Thu Apr 03, 2008 6:01 pm

Hi,

If we ask for a post dated EC for 3 months then do we still need to show the hotel booking for Accomodation. It means if I apply for EC in April 1st week then the booking should be July. Is it right?

Is it mandatory to show accomodation or once we get the EC can we go for it.

Best Regards
KK
