Tier 2 Visa Extension

Hi there,

Just wondering if someone can advise how long before can you apply for tier 2 visa extension? Also, if current visa is expiring in Aug 2018, can extension application be made in April with CoS saying start dates by end of August.

Please advise.

COS start date shouldn't be more than 3 months in future, if your COS start date is "end of Aug" then you should apply on/after "end of May" and before your your leave expires.
