Irish Citizenship through Naturalisation process

Post by asrpb » Thu Apr 03, 2008 7:00 pm

Hi Guys,

Those who've applied to become Irish citizens by naturalisation process or have already received the same, can you please advise on the couple of following questions?
 Has anyone got approved for citizenship before the lead-time (currently 2.5 years)?
 Has anyone had to attend interview?
 Do we have to submit original OR up-to date documents again after 2.5 years as the process is unbelievably lengthy and all documents sent are just copies?

Your suggestions/answers will be much appreciated :)

Regards,
SS
