Awaiting spouse visa FLR (M)

Hello,

I hope whoever reads this is doing well. I have a simple query and i wonder if someone could guide me.

I recently received my ILR and I am now waiting to receive FLR(m) for the mrs. We submitted ILR LR AND FLR M applications together but hers was was on hold awaiting my decision.

So, since I have now received my decision

a) should I be writing a letter to HO informing them of acceptance of my visa and ask them to look into her application or wait and hope they would automatically do it.

b) Solicitor wants to write a representation on my behalf for a fee and i wonder if its worth it.

A quick advise would be very much appreciated as I am planning to visit solicitor today and therefore need to make a decision.

HO will be aware of your updated ILR status and will only start processing the FLR(M) once your approval was done.

No need to write to them and tell them.
