Gap between Tier2 Visas

Hello There,

It is slightly confusing with respect to my eligibility to ILR application. I am on Tier 2 General visa, and have been with same company for last 5.5 years. The problem is that I had a gap in which I work under Tier 4 dependent visa for 3 months （in the same compnay） between year 3 and year 4, after which I switched back to Tier 2. Am I still eligible to apply for ILR?

No you are not eligible if you held a different visa category as a dependent during the last 5 years. You need 5 years on Tier 2 to qualify for ILR.

Your clock for ILR reset to zero when you applied for your Tier 2 after being on Tier 4 dependent visa.
