Dear CR001
I mentioned for refree on line application as my accountant over 6 years, for how do you know the applicant. But I been told by accountant that was the wrong answer. I should have noted as family friend. Was the wrong answer filled? So when I fill on passport application I shouldn't use him as referee, I believe.

Don't get why it is an issue. He is your accountant and has known you for 6 years, his profession is on the list. Why should you put him down as family friend?
If you had used NCS/JCPA his reference would have covered the 2 applications. What he is saying does not make sense.

As per passport application guidance says not known by professionally. So my accountant can't be as my referee. He says So Many passport applications returned where clients mentioned him as referee. But there is a slight different between nationality & passport application as per both guidance.
