Witness for child passport (consent of parents)

Post by Grendels » Wed May 02, 2018 8:15 pm

The DFA website has a longer list of witnesses for the CONSENT OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS section of the passport application form (APS1E) than the list that's on the form itself. For example, the form doesn't list nurse, teacher, or pharmacist, but the website does.

Has anyone used any of the "extra" type of witness from the website that's not listed on the form for consent of parents/guardians?

I recently applied for my sons passport and we got the Garda to witness our signatures. However our doctor also said he would witness them. Maybe try getting your local GP to witness your signatures.
