Declaring speeding ticket in Naturalisation Form

Post by ssm4u » Mon May 07, 2018 7:53 pm

Hi,

I'm planning to applying for naturalisation through online form. I've got a speeding ticket by post SP30 with 3 points on my license and 100 GBP fine 6 months back. Do I've to declare the same in the form & if so do I have to send any proof?

Thanks

Not required to declare this if its a fixed penalty.

Thanks for replying. Online form says to declare driving offences & fines. Have not found any concrete info in the guideline. Anyone in the same situation.

I have got a response from the home office help desk that we on't need to worry about these penalties but however I declared all PCNs and fixed penalties and would suggest anyone to do so .

It better to be very transparent to sow our good intentions and character and demonstrate our case is clear and straight enough.

I have had 2 PCNs in the last 1 year and my application was approved. even if you don't declare they will get to know anyways so its better to do
