Should I Ask?

Post by Lazarus » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:51 am

Been in the UK almost 11 yrs. Made application 5yrs ago for ILR on compassionate grounds. At the time of application, was an overstayer for about 2.5 yrs. Now i have no way of getting money.

They've had my application and initially they had written to me with their normal acknowledgement letter to say my application is valid and cannot be decided on initial consideration bla, bla, bla

I have NI no. Do u think I should ask BIA for a work permit? What is the the likelyhood in getting the permit.

You cannot apply directly for a work permit. The employer in the UK who wants to employ you must do this. They should contact Work Permits (UK). (Contact details are under 'More advice and information' at the end of this guidance)
