ILR Spouse route - cash savings

Post by Hotcat » Fri May 11, 2018 3:10 pm

Hi,

I just wondering if anyone could give me some advice?
If I summit evidence of cash savings in the bank, should it be 6 months statements?
My savings are cash ISA and it is more than £16,000 but statement is once a year bank send to me.
So eventually 6 months bank statement will be gathered in one paper.
Is it still ok?
2nd question, is bank statement have to be same day as Premium service appointment?
Can I print out from bank just 1 day before or even 1 week before?

Thanks for advance!

Ensure that it is from paid employment, as self-employment is not allowed to be combined with cash savings. And your one-page statement should be fine, as long as it can be verified that you have held the funds in the account for 6 months.

Taking a slightly similar route to you - good luck :)

Hi, Dada

Thanks for the reply.
I am at full time employment.
One question about financial evidence, can I submit my 6 months bank statement + my 6 payslips plus Cash savings (which is only my name not joint names with my partner). My annual income is lower than £18600 so I need cash savings to meet the requirement.
I don't know if I go this way will be ok or not. :?

Yes, you're correct. As long as your annual income - if when combined with your cash savings comes up to £34,600. But there are variables in those figures - depending on the savings you have you might not need to include employment details at all. It's best to do a web search for 'appendix fm 1.7 financial requirement' download the gov.uk document and the explanation is very detailed.
