My fiancee and i were planning on getting married in the US and then living there afterwards so we applied for a K1 visa last year. However our plans have now changed and we are going to be living in the UK, but still marrying in the US.
What do we need to do cancel the visa and will cancelling it cause any problems further down the line? (i.e we do plan on moving back to the US in a few years time)
The visa is now with the US Embassy in London so do we contact them (letter, phone call at £1.20 a minute!?) or do we contact the USCIS in California were we originally filed?
Any advice gratefully recieved.
