point rules fro settlement

I've heard that the british high commision immigration officers that check the applications use point rules as their critieria for yes or no on settlement applications.

Does anyone know how these points work and how much for each area?

About your question; Point system is not applicable to the settlement visas. As far as I know its for HSMP visas however settlement application has to meet certian criteria and set of documentation to prove it. see also http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... espartners
