Leaving For Holidays???

Post by mickopla30 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 3:16 pm

I'm Irish and got married to my non EU National wife here in Ireland 2 weeks ago. she will have to leave here in June to apply for the D spouse visa which hopefully she will get. We want to travel to the USA in August on a holiday. She has a USA visa that is valid until 2009. My question is will she need a re-entry visa always in the future if we leave the country?

If she is granted a D-Spouse visa, upon entry into Ireland she will need to go to the GNIB to get her Stamp 4 visa. She can then apply for a re-entry visa which will be valid for the same duration as her Stamp 4. She can use this each time she exits and re-enters the State.
