Query: 15 working days calculation for visa approval

I am confused with the start day for the 15 working days period for Tier 2 standard visa approval. Which one of the following is correct to be considered as the starting day?
a. The online application day
b. The biometric appointment day
c. Day on which the application received email from UKVI

Any info on this would be helpful.

What 15 working days? Decision is normally made within 8 weeks as per Home Office advises. I submitted mine on the 5th May and received the outcome on 20th June

Ok, I missed to add the point about the location of application. For Bangalore, India, the UK Gov website mentions 15 working days as the guidance for visa approval.

I received the mail on 6th working day. So, maybe you will receive in next few days.

Finally recieved visas ( main and dependant) after 5 weeks from date of biometrics. Good luck everyone.
