Accomodation Survery

Hello every1,

just been reading through this forum, some very useful info. I'm wanting to bring my partner to the UK, i read that i'd need to provide a letter from the council stating that the accomodation is not overcrowded. I live in Tooting, London and my council is wandsworth. i tried contacting them and they said they do not provide the service. are there any independant companies which carry out these surveys in my area? how much would it cost?

In the borough which I live it is the environmental health department which willcarry out the survey.
