All Pakistanis - Accomodation in UK

Post by Azfer » Mon Apr 21, 2008 1:26 pm

I am initiating this tread for Pakistanis to advice fellow citizens in getting the temporary/permanent accomodation in London based on their experience.

People, please assist by sharing your feedback in getting cheap and reasonable hostel/hotel accomodation for short term/long term accomodation in UK. People already living in hostels or have experience of living in shared hostel also give their input.

Best,........Azfer

Hi,

I dont think there is difference in providing accomodation based on the country. It is same for everybody... You need to prepare to pay around 300-400 pounds for one single room in shared accomodation.. Cheers..

It is a common issue. No need of country specefic thread. Otherwise response would be very limited.

I think now people should look outside London for jobs. London has almost dried up. A good place is Birmingham or Manchester. In Manchester you could get a 2-bed house/flat in about 400 to 500 pounds and a lot of jobs are moving up north due to high costs in London.

Well I don’t live in London so don’t know the exact details but this is what I have gazed from outside. Londoners might be able to comment.
