Tier 2 general dependant extension

Hi,

My Tier 2 general dependant visa expires in Nov 2018 but I may have to travel to India during oct- nov period. Can anyone pls. advise how early can I extend my visa so that i can have my passport back before october 2018.

you dont have to wait till nov to apply for extension . you can apply in august , if you go for standard application , you can get back your passport by end of september or early october .

Standard application timelines are max 8 weeks , postal priority is max 10days (expensive) .

August is ideal time .
