Spouse visa from karachi no reply from Sheffield

Hi all

This is post on behalf of my friend.
He apply her wife visa spouse settlement from karachi. On 28 June all documents is sent to Sheffield on 2 july by recorded post. He only get email from.
Donotreply*visa4uk. Fco. Gov. Uk that payment is deducted. In pak rupies.
And No documents back from Sheffield.
Even no email from Sheffield that application is received.
Normally people get documents back in 2 weeks.
So any idea how long it takes or new system has been introduce by home office.

There is no timescale. If you read around this forum you'll see some people have received their documents next day and some received after many weeks. The email from them again has no timescale. It's not been long since your friend's application so don't worry it's normal. InshAllah it'll be fine. The only thing you should be worried if fees wasn't deducted which they have so just sit tight and wait.
