OCI Application -- Indian Origin proof

Hi All,

I am indian by birth and recently naturalised as british citizen. I received the indian passport surrender certificate recently and wanted to apply for OCI.

I am not sure what document i can provide to prove my indian origin. Can surrender certificate or my cancelled indian passport be used as proof of indian origin?

Yes Surrender Certificate, British Naturalisation Certificate, British Passport, Cancelled Indian Passport is all you need.
