Tier 2 Dependent Visa Switch from ICT Tier 2 from UK

Post by kunall » Tue Jul 31, 2018 8:48 pm

Hi,

My spouse has been offered a Tier 2 visa by her employer. As she was working on an ICT Tier 2 Dependent visa, she had to fly back to India to apply.

I want to move to Tier 2 Dependent Visa from my current ICT Tier 2 visa once she joins back in the UK. Couple of questions:

1. Can I keep working in my current job while applying for the switch?
2. What is the complete list of documents I must have to ensure that I get the switch done successfully? I did read the Home Office guidance on switches but feel that may not be enough?

Thanks.

Regards,
Kunal

1. Yes you can. If your dependent visa is granted you will need to inform your employer.

2. All in the guidance notes. It is minimal documentation.

There are many topics with your circumstances.
