EEA family permit VISA

Hi everyone!

My husband is an EEA member, and I'm not. Neither of us live in the UK but plan on relocating soon, probably early next year.
What are the chances I get the EEA stamp at the airport, considering my husband is not really "qualified" because he hasn't been residing and working there.
Would it be safer for him to go first?

And in any case, what if I enter with a tourist stamp, can I apply for a different permit once in the country?

When you say 'EEA member', I assume you mean 'EEA national', rather than the unlikely possibility that he is the family member of an EEA national. From your flag, I also assume that you do not need any visa to travel to the UK.

If you can afford it, you're better off just travelling to the UK together, with evidence in your hand baggage of being genuine husband and wife, especially as there is a possibility of the UK leaving the EU without any exit agreement in March 2019.

You shouldn't have posted in this thread - the OP's wife is a visa national, which makes the options very different.

first of all, thanks a lot for your reply. Indeed I meant EEA National.
We both live in Argentina, and as you well mention, I don't need a visa to enter the UK.

My doubt is specifically about travelling together without a visa and with evidence of marriage, because my husband is not residing in the UK he is not actually a "qualified person", is he? And as so, even if we are married, I would not be suitable for an EEA Stamp?

Also, I didn't quite understand what you meant about the OP's wife?
