TIER 2 - General (English language requirement)

Post by DhirajG » Wed Aug 15, 2018 3:11 pm

Hi Guys,

I’ve been recently granted RCOS and now moving to the next step of applying tier 2 visa. My last qualification was in london awarded with post graduate certificate. Does the degree PGCE ( post graduate certificate ) satisfies the english language requirement for the tier 2 visa application ? As per my research PGCE is considered at level 7 of higher education framework of uk. Any suggestion on this or else should i go with my bachelors degree and assess it with UK NARIC ?

Are you sure ?
My employer did confirm with the immigration team. They’re bit uncertain and want me to assess my bachelors degree with UK naric for the safe side.

Its a postgraduate certificate in computing and security. According to my research https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationa ... ed_Kingdom .
My degree is at the same level as masters or pg diploma i.e level 7 .

This is confusion - are you awarded a Master or Doctoral degree? If not, this is not count!

You can double confirm with your institution, if they say you are NOT awarded a master degree, then your PGCE is not counting.
