Tier 4 To Tier 2

Post by ShainR » Mon Aug 20, 2018 2:01 pm

I'm currently stuck with very few options to switch to a tier 2 visa.

My background:
1.Bachelors in India
2. Advanced Diploma in accountancy and finance RQF level 6 - BPP university Manchester (March 2016 to 17)
3. ACCA - completed papers up to P3 - currently In Manchester - visa expires on October 15th 2018.

I'm aware none of these qualifications are eligible to switch from inside the UK.

My RQF level 6 diploma is recognised as bachelors level and ACCA papers = Masters degree by NARIC but i know this cant be used either. (SAD)

Received a job offer, for £22K ,SOC code still deciding.

However i will need my employer to satisfy the RLMT and will need also need to return to my country.
Also the RCOS points would be 20+ 2= 22 points (Too less :( )

Please can someone advise, any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

You would be considered a new entrant then and need at least the new entrant salary stated in the SOC.

As you don't state what the SOC is, it is difficult for anyone to offer advice etc.

Hi CR001,

Thanks for your reply.

The SOC code would be 2421 (£21 K) or 2423 (for £22.9K)

My question is mainly in regards to the switch within the UK from tier 4 to Tier 2 visa as my situation listed above.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks in advance.
