UK Family visitor visa

Hi,

Please help me with below query -

My parents had visited UK in 2012 and during that time they got 6 months visit visa.
They have stayed all 6 months.

Now again I am applying visit visa for them in 2018 and have opted for 2 years family visit visa.

Q1. do they need to take TB test as it is application for 2 years visit visa or not required?
Q2. I am planning to get them UK for 3 months initially and later send them back to India. Again planning to get them to UK after a month or 2 months gap due to my personal circumstances.
Does this cause problem to them when they come again to Uk back in a month.

Kindly help me with above.

If this is the only visit visa have had to the UK, unlikely they will qualify for a 2 year visitor visa as they have no provable history of visiting and leaving the UK in line with their visa conditions. It is far more difficult to get visitor visas now than it was in 2012.

No. TB tests are ONLY required for visas that allowed staying for more than 6 months. Even IF they got a 2 year visitor visa, it does NOT permit them to stay in the UK for more than 6 months at a time or more than 6 months in a 12 month cycle.

They cannot use a 2 year visitor visa to 'live/reside' in the UK. See #1 above.

To qualify for a visa, they have to provide strong evidence of their ties to their home country (social, employment, financial, property, friends/family etc).
