hi,

I got every thing.. thanks to every 1 here.. really supportive and informative.. i wish and hope to continue my support and to be active in this list

Applied on 16 May 2004
Got approval 18 Nov 2004
Applied for EC on 7 Dec
Got EC on 23 Dec. (23 Dec 2004 - 23 Dec 2005)

I already have few interview scheduled in 2nd week of Jan let hope and see.

My question is.

My spouse EC says. " Visa to ACC Spouse"
with this visa can my spouse work or she has to get some new visa?

Is it necessary that my Wife should have UK entry with me.. or she can travle/come to UK after me.
i plan to go first find job and place and then ask her in 2 months to come

Please do reply i would appritiate you further help and support

Take care

Big congrats!!!

Your spouse need not apply for a new visa. Her "visa to accompany spouse" is all she needs and she is allowed to work based on your approval.

i presume HO shouldn't have a problem with you going to settle down before your wife joins you in two months time, considering the challenges of relocating to one of the most expensive cities of this planet

The 'drift' that one gets from reading the HSMP guidelines is :

It is alright if the spouse comes in later provided you have her/him beside you at the end of the first year (read extension).
After all, you gained valuable points for a qualified and/or productive spouse. In return for points, they expect the 'capable' partner to be atleast present in the UK job market, if not gainfully employed.

However, do wait for this view to be seconded by one of the moderators/senior members.
nJOY !
may u grow by leaps and pounds !
