Move abroad after application for Naturalisation

Post by jwillaims83 » Fri Sep 07, 2018 1:50 pm

Is it possible that someone make an online application using NDRS and then using their old passport make Work Visa Application to a different country?

Usually Work Visa comes quickly and therefore the person leaves the UK, while the naturalization application is still in process.

Is this allowed and what are the shortfalls?

Alternatively, if someone becomes eligible for citizenship and at same time gets a good job opportunity abroad, what are the options?

Consider a family of four where none of the partners are UK citizen and only 1 child is UK citizen (by birth to a ILR parent)

You can leave the country on your original nationality if you so desire. However ensure youare able to attend the citizenship ceremony within 90 days. Or your citizenship will lapse. After that you can do whatever you want. There are no restrictions.
